Progress requires more than technological capability. It requires understanding the humanity it is intended to serve.

01

What we explore

The relationship between innovation, institutions, ethics and human development: political economy, governance, social transformations, human rights, economic models and the philosophy behind technological responsibility.

02

Why it matters

Technological progress cannot be separated from the society that receives it. Innovation has to be evaluated by its consequences for people, not only by its technical feasibility. This work is nonpartisan and evidence-oriented.

03

What drives our curiosity

  1. 01How do institutions adapt to change that moves faster than regulation?
  2. 02What responsibilities come with introducing a new technology?
  3. 03Which economic and social models could serve future societies better?

04

Where innovation may emerge

In initiatives designed with their social consequences in view, and in forms of cooperation between public and private actors.
