01

What we explore

How institutions, businesses and industries connect through purchasing: public tenders, private procurement, industrial supply chains, subcontracting, supplier qualification and consortium participation, in Europe and beyond.

02

Why it matters

Procurement is not simply about winning contracts. It shows how value moves through production chains and economic networks, and where an organisation can take part in them.

03

What drives our curiosity

  1. 01Where can a smaller organisation enter a supply chain through subcontracting or a consortium?
  2. 02Which qualification requirements keep capable suppliers out?
  3. 03How could contracting models reward collaboration and innovation?

04

Where innovation may emerge

In tender participation, in new roles within supply chains, in support for other companies and in collaborative contracting models.
